BUDBURNERZ / AK47, KALAIM, PROBE &VIRUS - BETWEEN 1975 to 1978 - FRANCE
BudBurNerZ was born in the year 1998 following the fusion of two groups of long term friendship who just had been created: Hexacoustic Intelligent System (Gorhgorh, Kalaim and Uzi Mind) and BudBurNerZ (AK47, Probe and Virus).
These two groups already had their own musical background and their own musical productions and styles. Gorhgorh brought in his alternative crazy punk culture, Kalaim his extraordinary gift to understand and create any style of music, Uzi Mind and AK47 their great talent behind the deks. Freshly graduated from a sound engineer school Virus and Probe brought the last and not least skills to what was going to become the BudBurNerZ adventure.
After a heating up round playing in several parties their crazy live, the group decided it was about time to share its vision of this music with the largest audience possible.
We are now in 1999 and the BudBurNerZ release their first home made and independently produced live act CD « Against the washing machines » distributed by ToolBox who was totally conquered by the hard and fresh sound of this first opus. Still today people discover this first album and are dazed by the musical diversity it offer.
Releases follow: DBP 01, DBP 02, Hierapolis 01, Neurotoxic 04, …
The young French hardcore label Epileptik at this time in full expansion decides to produce their first live act CD and it is towards the BudBurNerZ that they oriented their choice. This is the release of the CD « En route pour Sirius » and once again the public is hysterical. Extreme electronic music for your neurones, this is how the group likes to qualify its music.
EP’s follow with the Hors-Serie following the live act and the Rouge de Colère number 7 « Viracotcha » with its Breakcore tunes who have charmed mister ToolBox once again
With such a success the label Epileptik decides to strike again and releases the group’s 3rd album « Concerto pour plantes vivaces » recorded during their memorable show at Astropolis (along with Manu Le Malin, Lenny Dee and The DJ Producer). Same success for this new opus that sells as well as the first one (even better). Epileptik releases the Epileptik Hors Série04 gathering some of the best traks of the live act and at the same time the group releases the DBP03 mix of Experimental Speedcore and Breakcore which creates another surprise…
As well for the Enthropy 00, first release of these crazy asses from Enthropy Hardcore Brigade. A featuring with Yoni Khan composed in a cave somewhere in Paris and three tracks from the group which creates a strong relationship between the two groups.
At the end of this period BudBurNerZ are only 4 left, Gorhgorh having decided to pursue his musical carrier on his own. Remain in the group AK47, Kalaim and Virus.
The group release its 4th album « The Double BudBurGer » in summer 2004 with a live act (Soda Croupi) and a DJ mix by AK47 (Frites Molles). This double album was not for sale in the shops but to download for free from the first version of our website.
Our latest release was edited on the Belgium based label Stryktniks managed by Krapo. It is the Stryktniks 03 « Acheter de la bouffe aux camions frite peut entraîner de fort vomissements ». A versus half tripcore by Krapo and half marchmallow core by BudBurNerZ to burn the dance floors.
2005 is a critical year for us: new website, new records, new artists, new collaboration, new parties. And if you are just discovering us... NEW PUBLIC !
