Biographie
Musicien / Vidéaste / DJ, Tzii, suite à son activisme musical dans les années 1990, crée en 2001 le label "Night On Earth", éditant des vinyles mais également des vidéos, des mixtapes et bientôt des CD-R et DVD.
Se jouant des étiquettes et se nourrissant à la fois des cultures populaires européennes et africaines, Tzii explore la culture industrielle sous toutes ses formes, ludique ou introspective, électronique ou acoustique, visuelle ou sonore.
Ses influences principales sont Coil, Gamaboy, Throbbing Gristle, Spectre pour n'en citer que quelques-uns.
Son approche de la musique est artisanale, utilisant très peu la technologie informatique. La musique de Tzii est truffée de synthétiseurs analogiques, de scratch cassettes et autres manipulations manuelles, préservant ainsi cette spontanéïté qu'il avait dans ses debuts acoustiques (batterie, trompette, piano...) Lorsqu'il tournait dans des groupes de rock... .Des projets parrallèles existent sous d'autres noms tels que LIFESTEAK, un duo audio / video avec Rko.

Biography
Tzii is a musician, video maker and DJ at the same time.
He was a musical activist during the 90’s and decided to create his own label in 2001 : "Night On Earth".
This label releases vinyls, videos, mix tapes and soon CD-r & DVD.
He doesn’t make a specific style of music (he desn’t care of doing so !) and he is influenced by popular cultures from Europe and Africa.
Tzii explores industrial culture under all its sights : play activity or introspective, electronic or acoustic, visual or sound. His main influences are Coil, Gamaboy, Throbbing Gristle, Spectre.
His musical works are craft and don’t really use computers. His music is full of analogical synths, cassettes scratches and other manual handlings that allow him to keep the spontaneity of his first acoustical works (drums, trumpet, piano...) when he was part of rock bands...
He is also part of the Lifesteak project : an audio and video duet with Rko.
